1. CRDP is a restoration of retired pay; therefore, it is retired pay by another name. It is paid by DFAS and is reflected only on the second page of the RAS. It is not broken out on the first page....

Good point that I overlooked. However, he had 20 years active duty and did not receive a VA rating until ~18 years post retirement. I suspect he did not receive a DOD disability retirement. Ron
